BI Data Hero transforms Power BI education into an immersive RPG adventure. Players create custom characters and progress through five themed realms — DAX Mountains, Power Query Plains, Modelling Forest, Visualisation Valley and Service Tower — each packed with NPC-guided challenges, branching storylines and fully voiced cutscenes.
The academy spans over 1,000 challenges across 30+ interactive formats — from multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank to DAX performance optimisers, schema evolution simulators and relationship troubleshooters. Every challenge is timed, scored and tracked, feeding into a Knowledge Vault where players review past mistakes for targeted improvement.
Competitive features include Hero Duels for one-on-one matchups and Group Duels for team-based play, with global and country leaderboards ranking players worldwide. A built-in 6-station radio — with an original soundtrack available on Spotify and Apple Music — keeps the vibe going while you learn.
The Pro tier unlocks nearly 2,000 pages of enhanced explanations covering every challenge, helping players understand not just what the right answer is but why. Corporate team subscriptions allow organisations to onboard entire teams with shared leaderboards and centralised billing.
